Heat Geek is an education platform that teaches engineers how to design and install heat pumps correctly. Their methodology is built on sound physics — and it's the same methodology we've always used at Magna Renewables.
Every property is different. A proper heat loss calculation (to MCS standards) ensures the heat pump is sized correctly — not over-specified to cover up a poor installation.
Running at 40–50°C flow temperature instead of 60–65°C is the secret to heat pump efficiency. We design every system to run at the lowest possible flow temperature for maximum CoP.
Radiator sizing, pipework, controls, and hot water cylinder selection all affect performance. We get the details right so your system delivers the efficiency it's rated for.
